Hey fellow farmers,
Been thinking a lot lately about how to balance aggressive yield farming with portfolio stability, especially with the current market volatility. While chasing those high APYs on volatile pairs can be tempting, I've been leaning more into stablecoin yield farming lately to create a more resilient base for my overall portfolio.
I'm primarily looking at protocols offering yields on stablecoin pairs like USDC/DAI or even single-sided stablecoin staking. Protocols like Curve, Aave, and Compound are usually my go-to for these, as they tend to have deeper liquidity and, historically, have been more robust.
My strategy isn't about getting the absolute highest APY, but rather finding a consistent, reliable yield that I can then potentially reinvest or use to DCA into riskier assets during dips. It feels like a more sustainable approach than constantly trying to front-run the market with volatile LPs.
Has anyone else adopted a similar strategy? What are your favorite stablecoin farming opportunities right now? I'm curious about:
- Protocols with the best security track record for stablecoin vaults.
- Any innovative stablecoin yield strategies you've come across (e.g., leveraging lent stablecoins).
- How you manage the risks associated with stablecoin de-pegging, however small they might seem.
Open to hearing your thoughts and experiences!
