Suggestion: Customizable News Feed with Sentiment Analysis

Hey folks,

Been thinking about how we consume crypto news here on CryptoMaster. While the current feed is useful, I think there's a huge opportunity to improve it by adding a customizable news feed with integrated sentiment analysis. Imagine being able to filter news not just by token (like BTC, ETH, SOL) but also by specific keywords, news sources, or even by the sentiment of the articles.

For example, I'd love to:

  • Filter for news tagged as 'positive' or 'bullish' for my long positions.
  • Exclude articles with a 'negative' sentiment for tokens I'm holding.
  • Set up alerts for breaking news related to specific projects, but only if the sentiment is strongly positive or negative.
  • See a 'sentiment score' next to each article, giving me a quick idea of the general market mood around that topic.

This would be incredibly helpful for cutting through the noise. Right now, it's easy to get overwhelmed by FUD or miss crucial positive developments. An AI-powered sentiment analysis tool, even a basic one, could help us make more informed decisions faster. It would complement the existing charting tools and on-chain data by adding a qualitative layer to our analysis.

What do you all think? Could something like this be implemented? Would you use a feature like this?

This is a fantastic idea! I've been thinking along similar lines. The ability to filter by sentiment would be a game-changer, especially for those of us trying to cut through the noise and focus on genuinely bullish or bearish signals.

Beyond just filtering, have you considered how the sentiment analysis itself could be displayed? Maybe a simple +/- indicator next to each headline, or even a more granular score? I'm curious to hear more about your thoughts on the implementation side.

I'm totally on board with this! The idea of filtering by sentiment is a brilliant way to cut through the FUD and hype. I've been manually trying to gauge sentiment by looking at headlines and reading a bit, but having it automated would save so much time.

One thing I'd also love to see is the ability to save custom filters. So, if I have a specific set of tokens and sentiment preferences for my "long-term holdings" watch list, I could just click a button to load that specific view. What do you think about that addition?
