Suggestion: Add Customizable Alert Options for Specific Trading Pairs

Hey fellow CryptoMasters,

I've been a long-time user of this platform and find it incredibly robust for trading. However, I've been thinking about a feature that could really enhance our ability to react quickly to market movements, especially when we're not glued to the screen. My suggestion is to implement more customizable alert options for specific trading pairs.

Right now, the alerts are pretty basic. While useful, I'd love to see the ability to set alerts based on more advanced criteria. For instance:

  • Percentage Change Alerts: Set an alert for when a specific coin, like ADA, moves up or down by a certain percentage (e.g., 5%) within a defined timeframe (e.g., 1 hour or 24 hours).
  • Volume Spikes: Get notified when trading volume for a pair like XRP/BTC suddenly increases by, say, 2x the average volume over the last hour. This could signal potential breakouts or trend changes.
  • Technical Indicator Crosses: Imagine getting an alert when the RSI on DOGE crosses above 70, or when the MACD line crosses its signal line for LTC. This would be a game-changer for executing trades based on technical analysis.

I think adding these kinds of granular alert settings would empower us to manage our portfolios more effectively and not miss crucial trading opportunities. It would reduce the need for constant monitoring and allow for more strategic decision-making. What do you all think? Would features like these be valuable to you?

This is a fantastic suggestion! I've definitely felt the pain of missing out on key moves because the current alert system is a bit too generic. Being able to set alerts for specific price points, or even percentage changes on individual pairs like BTC/ETH or ADA/SOL, would be a game-changer for active traders. It would save so much time and mental energy not having to constantly monitor charts.

I'd also be keen to see if we could get alerts for things like significant volume spikes or even moving average crossovers on selected pairs. What kind of advanced criteria were you thinking of specifically? Curious to hear more!
